Júlio F. R. Costa (b. 1989) has a degree in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Art Markets. Has written and published articles on philosophy around the contemporary art market, namely about the work of art as a commodity and the position of the artist in the hodiernal art world. In addition to his academic degrees and continued production in these areas, he has been developing activities as a visual artist, namely in video experimentalism, emphasizing experimental animations – taking advantage of the taste for drawing and making them “a bit animated”. He has participated in national and international festivals, as well as exhibitions of more “traditional” mediums. His first romance Eduardo Lopo’s Life Pieces was published in 2019.
